Bonnyville Pro Rodeo

The Bonnyville Pro Rodeo took place June 4-6th in Bonnyville, Alberta at the Bonnyville Rodeo Grounds. Orin Larsen took first with his 84 point ride on Sweet Tea (Yule Rodeo) for $1,377. Carter McIntyre took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.3 seconds run to earn $2,681. Brody Groves & Logan Groves took first in the team roping with their 4.4 seconds run to take home $2,340 each. Layton Green took first in the saddle bronc riding with a phenomenal 88 point ride on Mary Lou ( Yule Rodeo) for $1,661. Clay Elliott took first in the tie-down roping with his quik 9.0 seconds run to net him $2,984. Caitlin McArthur was fastest around the cans with her 16.70 seconds run to pocket $3,487. Bradi Whiteside who is on fire this season took first with a fast 1.9 seconds run to bring home a $2,242 check. Grady Young took first in the bull riding with his strong 86 point ride on Chase The Good (Yule Rodeo) for $1,779.

The total payout this year was $108,428.20. Yule Rodeo Ltd. provided the stock along with sub-contractor Ward Macza. Payton Yule, Daral Northcott, Darin Eno, and Tom Bingham were the pickup men and the bullfighters were Cantrell Gravelle, Lane Paley, and Austen Meston.
