Bear Paw Roundup

The Bear Paw Roundup took place August 7-8th at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Chinook, Montana. Braden Brost was all-around cowboy for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping ot take home $2,850. Tucker Zingg took first in the bareback riding for his 84 points on Rodeo Jacket (J Bar J) for $1,805. Luke Gee took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.3 second run to earn $2,140. Nolan Conway & Alonzo Skunkcap took first in the team roping for their 5.6 second run to take home $2,781 each. Tyrel Roberts took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 83 points on First Lizzie ( J Bar J) for $2,507. Coy Skocdopole took first in the tie-down roping for his 10.1 second run to earn $2,133. Valee Miller took first in the barrel racing for her 17.82 second run to pocket $2,010. Unfortunately there were no qualified rides in the breakaway roping. There was a tie for first in the bull riding between Tristan O'Neal on No. 10 (J Bar J) and Cole Wagner on No. 805h (J Bar J) with both scoring 77 point rides to net them $2,265 each. J Bar J. and Paul Eiker provided the stock. Ben Wrzesinski and Justin Kissack were the pickup men and Sylvan La Cross and Trenton Lambert kept the bull riders safe.
