98th Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo

The 98th Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo was held March 12-15 in Arcadia, Florida at the Mosaic Arena with a payout of over $160,000. Zachary Townsend netted himself a check for $2,867 for all-around cowboy by competing in the tie-down roping and steer wrestling. He also placed tenth in the steer wrestling with his 6.6 seconds run for another $705 and fifth in the tie-down roping for his 11.5 run to earn an another $2,162.


Sage Allen took first in the bareback riding for his 88.5 point ride on Talkin Smack for $5,041. Grant Peterson took first in the steer wrestling for his quick 4.0 seconds run to earn $2,996. There was a tie for first in the team roping between Brady Barrentine & Scott Martell and Riley Kittle & Cole Curry, with both teams stopping the clock at 5.3 seconds to take home $3,783 each. There was also a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Kade Bruno on Gossip Girl and Weston Patterson on Big News, with both riders scoring big 87.5 point rides to net them $4,309. Trenton Smith took first in the tie-down roping with his quick 10.4 second run to pocket $3,675. Anna Dietrich took first in the breakaway roping with her quick 2.6 seconds run for $4,357. Kristin Hanchey took first in the barrel racing with her 16.33 seconds run to earn $4,634. John Crimber took first in the bull riding with his huge 89 point ride on Curve Ball for $5,666.


Frontier Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Universal Pro Rodeos, Remey Parrott, and Double J Rodeo Company. Shawn Calhoun and Dusty Moore were the pickup men and Shane Jennings and Kangaroo McKettrick provided the cowboy protection.
