97th Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo

The 97th Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo was held in Arcadia, Fla., March 6-9. Marcus Theriot took all-around cowboy for $3,711, competing in tie-down roping, steer wrestling and team roping. He took first in the team roping paired with heeler Chase Graves for their 4.2 second run for $3,711 each. Oklahoma cowboy, Jayco Roper, took first with an 87.5 point ride on Night Fist (Frontier Rodeo) for $4,865. Kyle Irwin took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.8 second run for $2,936. There was a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Allen Boore, on Lonesome Eyes (Frontier Rodeo) and Bailey Small, on Wolf Pup (Frontier Rodeo) with both having big 88 point rides to talk home $4,309 each. Cross Fulford took first in the tie-down roping with a 9.3 second run for $4,355. Red hot Fallon Taylor took first with her16.39 second run for $4,710. In the breakaway roping, Brooke Ladner took first with a 2.0 second run for $4,028. Ernie Courson Jr took first in the bull riding with an 87.5 point ride on Babyface Nelson ( Frontier Rodeo).

Frontier Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Kyle Irwin and Zane Edmondson. Riley McKettrick and Shane Jennings kept the bull riders safe and Dusty Moore, Ty Atchison and Shawn Calhoun were the pickup men.
