The The Big 94.5 Country Topeka PRCA Rodeo was held August 23-24th in Topeka, Kansas. Hayden James took first in the bareback riding with an 82 point ride on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo's Super Soaker. Shawn Musil took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.7 second run. In the team roping Mason Appleton/Billie Jack Saebens took first with their 5.5 second run. There was a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Heston Harrison, on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo's Game Changer, and Blake Steuck, on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo's Bunny Gal who both had 80 point rides. Mason Stueve took first in the tie-down roping with an 8.5 second run. Emily Griffin took first in the barrel racing with her 17.75 second run. Kieley Walz took first in the breakaway roping with a 2.3 second run. There was only one qualified ride in the bull riding which was Dalton Walling's 83 points on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo's Midnight Sun. All-around cowboy went to Clay Clayman who competed in steer wrestling and team roping.
