Nanton Pro Rodeo

The Nanton Pro Rodeo was held August 22-23rd at the Nanton Agricultural Society Arena in Nanton, Alberta. Brett Williams took first in the bareback riding with an 83 point ride on Montana John (Macza Rodeo) for $886. There was a tie for first in the steer wrestling between Ryan Shuckburgh and Quentin Branden, with both bulldoggers stopping the clock at 4.1 seconds to bring home $1,960 each. Trey Gallais & Logan Spady took first in the team roping with their 4.9 second run to net them $1,903 each. Dawson Dahm took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 86.5 point ride on Bay Moon (Duffy Rodeo) for $913. There was also a tie for first in the tie-down roping between Scot Meeks and Logan Bird with both ropers clocking 7.4 second run to pocket $2,142 each. Blake Molle took first in the barrel racing with her 15.95 second run to earn $2,181. Kendal Pierson took first in the breakaway roping with her quick 2.6 second run to bring home $1,946.  Logan Biever, took first in the bull riding with his big 89 points on Wreckonciled (Macza Rodeo) for $978. Macza Pro Rodeo and Duffy Rodeo provided the stock.  Slim Brown and Dustin Gonnet were the pickup men and Austin Meston provided the cowboy protection.
