Central Point Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo

The Central Point Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo kicked off May 15-17th in Central Point, Oregon. Daniel Williams was awarded all-around cowboy and a check for $2,268 for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took second in the team roping with heeler Cody Stewart for their 4.3 run to take home $2,164 each, and tied for eight in the tie-down roping for his 10.8 run for an additional $103. There a tie in the bareback riding between Colton Clemens, on Merle (Western Rodeos) and Donny Proffit, on Corona Queen (Four Star Rodeo), who both had 80 point rides to take home $1,744 each. Eric Logan took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.9 second run for $1,903. In the team roping, Quincy Crum & Daniel Martin took first with their 4.1 second run to take home $2,453 each. Mitch Pollock took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 84.5 point ride on Big Shoots (Western Rodeos for $2,312. Seth Hall took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.5 second run to earn $2,378. In the barrel racing, Teri Bangart took first with her 13.41 second run for $2,327. Justin Houston took first in the bull riding with his big 86 points on White Strike (Western Rodeos) for a 2,228 payout. Four Star Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Anthony Verdino, Garrett Rogers, John McGill, and Western Rodeos. Rick Moffatt and Mitch Coleman were the pickup men and Dave Murdoch and Del Rude were the bullfighters.
