Buffalo Bill Rodeo

The Buffalo Bill Rodeo is part of 10 days of rodeo action, concerts, parade, and events held every June in North Platte, Nebraska as part of Nebraska Days. Some of the big names these year that showed up to compete were Rocker Steiner who took first in the bareback riding with an impressive 88 point ride on Beutler & Son Rodeo's Happy Hour, Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi who took first in the barrel racing with a 16.55 second run, and JR Stratford took took first in the bull riding with an 86.5 point ride on Beutler & Son Rode 3.5 seconds. Dustin Egusquiza/Levi Lord took first in the team roping with a 4.5 second run. Ean Price took first in the saddle bronc riding with a big 85.5 point ride on Beutler & Son Rodeo's Fight Night. All-around cowboy went to Austin Hurlburt who competed in tie-down roping and steer wrestling.


In the steer wrestling the Aussie Travis Munro took first in the first round with a fast 4.0 seconds run. Tyler Pearson took first in the second round with a fast 3.5 second run. Travis Munro was also first in the average with 8.7 seconds on two head.


Lane Livingston took first in the first round of the tie-down roping with an 8.9 second run. There was a tie in the second round between Coy Arnold and Ryan Belew who both had 9.1 second runs. First in the average went to Connor Matheson, 19.5 seconds on two head.


All-Around Cowboy: Austin Hurlburt, $2,609, tie-down roping and steer wrestling.
